Asitz – “Mountain of Senses”
The Senses Experience Park and the Quiet Waters at the Asitz on an altitude of 1.320 meters invite you to go there on a daytrip. From the house you hike over the Steinbergbahn car park up to the Krallerhof. You continue your walk to the Stockinggut by Avenida and from there to the Asitz middle station. The trails are marked well. The hike to the middle station takes you about 2 hours. At the Asitz middle station the Senses Experience Park is waiting for you: with over 30 stations and machines families, children and adults are guided through the world of seeing, smelling, hearing, tasting and feeling.
While the little ones have fun at the daily changing handicraft program, adults can explore the herbal garden with a TEH-herbal specialist or take part in a TEH-herbal-workshop.
Above the Senses Experience Park the Quiet Waters invite you with sun loungers, observation platforms and many more water elements for relaxing and enjoying. Grant yourself a moment of recreation and enjoy the dreamlike panorama of the Steinberge mountains in Leogang.
At the Asitz mountain station, there is still a summer toboggan run with sound spectacles and a play trail with various play stations to discover. Huts that spoil you with the finest culinary delights are located at the middle and mountain stations.
